Recently, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan had praised Dulquer Salmaan's performance in Mani Ratnam's 'OK Kanmani' in his blog. Dulquer has posted a picture of him in his younger days with the legend himself. He also tells the story behind the snap, adding that he had been searching for it for quite some time now.

Dulquer says that during those days, it was his wish to take a photo with him and he approached his father for the same. An opportunity presented itself during an AMMA show. Amitabh was having his food then and invited Dulquer to asked to have a plate of Idili. Though he had had his food earlier, he did not have the heart to refuse and sat down and had it, listening to his father and Amitabh talk about their work. In the post, Dulquer thanks Amitabh for his compliment, saying that he is an inspiration with his acting and words.
