If January belongs to big-ticket films featuring superstars, Feb is about big films featuring non-superstars.

The first big film to hit the marquee will be Bheemineni Srinivas' Speedunnodu, starring Bellamkonda Srinivas and Sonarika in lead roles. It will release on Feb 5. Since it is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Sundar Pandian, expectations are high. The 'S' sentiment of Bheemineni is also there. The climax is touted to be the film's soul. A story-oriented film, it has been nativised, going by the trailer and the songs released on Jan 22.

Come Feb 12, the 'veera gaadha' of Nani's Krishna 'gadu' will be watched out for. 14 Reels Entertainment is a name to reckon with, given the novelty of the subjects they choose. The second attraction is Nani, who is high on the success of Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy. Hanu Raghavapudi of Andala Rakshasi fame has seemingly changed his style to deliver a mainstream commercial film with a distinct touch.

Come Feb 19, Dil Raju's Krishnashtami will hit the screens. Coming as it does from an ace production house with a stellar reputation for churning uncompromising, promising entertainment, the expectations are naturally high. The director has been known as a good writer and so, you can expect a nice family entertainer.

The films belong to different genres and this makes Feb all the more special. Watch this space..
