The Union Health Ministry on Friday said that there were 3,390 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours (as at 4 PM).
"The number of people under active medical supervision is 37,916. The number of recoveries so far is 16,540. India's recovery rate is 29.36%. Almost 1 in 3 hospitalized people have recovered," the Ministry said.
Here are some important district-level statistics:
216 districts have not reported any case till date.
42 districts have had no fresh cases in the last 28 days.
29 districts have had no fresh cases in the last 21 days.
36 districts have had no fresh cases in the last 14 days.
46 districts have had no fresh cases in the last 7 days.
India has got 56,342 total confirmed cases so far.
