House Full for '3 Idiots'

The movie released December last year and still house full? No, we’re talking about the houses in India were really full when ‘3 Idiots’ was premiered on Indian television! How do we substantiate that? As per a recent survey of Television channel viewer ratings, the answer was incredible.

‘Three Idiots’ premiered on Sony Entertainment Channel on July 25th, exactly 8 months after the movie released. The rating for that particular night was 10.9 and according to television standards it is an amazing number. Not just that, the cumulative reach was 30.5 that makes it conclude that approximately every third home in India watched the movie and put their TV remote aside. No wonder, house full!

Everyone who saw the TV premiere also saw the ‘3 Idiots’ team including Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and director Rajkumar Hirani, talk about titbits of the movie. The actors went on to say, they were emotionally attached to the movie!
