'IDI' or 'Ispector Dawood Ibrahim' will have its release on the 12th of August. The movie will be distributed worldwide by Magic Lantern and Eros International. Sajid Yahiya has scripted and directed the movie. Jayasurya and Sshivada play the lead roles in the movie. Joju George and Sunil Sukhada play prominent roles in it.

'IDI' will be an action- comic entertainer. Sajid Yahiya has also acted in a few movies including 'Bangalore Days'. Music of the movie is by Rahul Raj. The movie is all about a person who dreams of becoming a police officer and becomes one after a lot of hard work. He is posted as the sub inspector and realises that his work is not as easy as he thought it would be. The movie is all about his struggles in the position.
