‘Catching them young’ is a motto in sporting circles.

But these days it is also ringing true in cinema circles.

First we had middle-age romance, then it was youthful love. They moved on to college romance. Now they have come to schools in search of love.

A new film 10th Class is being currently talked of highly in film circles here.

Produced by SP Entertainments (they have made films like Swayamvaram and Chirunavvutho), 10th Class as the name suggests is about love in the life of school students.

Chandu, a newcomer, is being introduced as the director in the film.

The film is fast progressing with five songs already shot. The movie is slated for release in January.

Bharat is the hero while Saranya, who was seen in Premiste,is the heroine.

The team that met the press recently said that it would be another calf love kind of film. Producer Shyam Prasad was quick to point out that it would be different from Premiste.

Chandu, the newcomer, is excited about the project. He said the film would be a powerful one and there would be an underlying message in it.

The film has eight songs, all strung to tune by Mickey J Mayer (his other film Pothe Poni is due for release).
