In Suryapet's Raghunathapally, a Standard X girl has become a victim of rape. The culprit is aged more than 50 years and is in the noble profession of teaching.

The other day, the victim wrote the SSC public examination at a school. The offender was her invigilator. Reportedly, he helped the examinee copy answers during the exam. He asked the girl to wait outside the examination centre after the exam.

Soon, he arrived on a two-wheeler, asked the girl to ride pillion and took her to a lonely place where he molested her.

The girl escaped from the scene and ran away to her home. She complained to her aunty, who immediately lodged a police complaint against the invigilator.

After the perpetrator was arrested, certain elders from the village entered the scene and tried to convince the victim's relatives to withdraw the case. They allegedly gave them huge cash.
