Is China angry with India over Article 370? Read on to know!

Last August, the Narendra Modi government effectively abrogated Article 370 and bifurcated Jammu and Kashmir. Home Minister Amit Shah said in Parliament that the territory in Ladakh that has been illegally occupied by China will be taken back. Commentators hold that India challenged both Pakistan and China by changing the status quo in J&K. With China now flexing its muscles at many points along the Line of Actual Control, many are of the opinion that the Dragon has been triggered by the removal of Article 370.

But is that so? Not everyone seems to think that's the case. China is currently having conflicts with one too many countries. While Pakistan and North Korea are its only friends, China doesn't respect any international agreement or the sovereignty of any nation.

Think-tank intellectual Tanvi Madan writes that China has been busy with Australia (cyber attack, economic coercion), India (territorial status quo changed, soldiers killed), Japan (vessels sent near Senkakus), Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines (maritime harassment), Taiwan (airspace intrusions), Vietnam (fishing vessel rammed), Hong Kong (national security law). The long list of China's issues with other countries only goes to show the mindset of the Chinese Community Party.

Journalist Palki Sharma writes, "China’s wars: 1. Fighting 7 nations at sea 2. Trade war w the US & Australia 3. At war with its own people in Xinjiang & Inner Mongolia 4. Open fronts in Hong Kong & Taiwan 5.Beijing 2nd wave and 6. Diplomatic wars with the world."

Amid all this, India has warned China of a pushback when instigated.
