Social media is rife with news that it is Mohanlal who is portraying the title role Ezra in the movie. It happened after the trailer of Ezra` was released. All started guessing who is appearing as Ezra. Earlier a photo of Mohanlal has circulated in online media saying that it belongs to the Prithviraj`s directorial venture Lucifer`. People now started interpreting it as the getup of Mohanlal in Lucifer.

There are other reasons also behind such conclusions. The makers of the film gave a synopsis of the film in Wikipedia, initially, it had the name of Mohanlal in the cast. Later it was removed, this is one reason for this wild guess. Also in the trailer, they showed someone with a tilt to the sideways like Mohanlal, standing with a paper with something written about Ezra. This also led to such speculations. Whatever it is, all have to wait until the film is released to know the truth.
