Popular Mollywood music director Kailas Menon and wife welcomed their first baby on August 17. Kailas himself shared the good news with fans on social media. Revealing that the newborn has been named as Samanyu Rudra, Kailash also shared a picture of his son.

"First pic with my love. We’ve named him Samanyu Rudra (സമന്യു രുദ്ര) ❤️ Both Samanyu & Rudra are names of Lord Shiva. Samanyu means ‘Having the same mind’ Rudra means ‘The destroyer of misery & evil’ PS: His mom is a big time Shiva devotee ??," captioned Kailas.

Earlier, the maternity photoshoot of the couple had gone viral on social media. Kailas had even said that the COVID-19 period became a blessing for them as they could spend time together at home.
