'Journey'-like collision of buses in Chittoor district

In the early hours of Wednesday, a private bus and an APSRTC bus collided into each other at Kasipentla village on the Putalapattu-Naidupeta Highway in Chittoor district. The accident has resulted in two casualties, one of them of the APSRTC bus driver's.

Reports say that at least 35-40 passengers have sustained injuries when the two buses collided head-on. The injured were immediately rushed to the nearby RUIA hospital in Tirupati.

The way the accident took place, it has reminded of the one from the movie 'Journey'.
