Prasanth Varma, the debutant director of 'AWE', has told a national daily that Kajal Aggarwal wanted to produce the movie in Hindi when she first heard it. After all, she had goosebumps when she listened to the story.

It was the director's own calling not to go that big. It's because the youngster had faced a slew of disappointments whenever his stories were sought to be made into big films in the past. Prasanth didn't want 'AWE', too, to meet the same fate.

And when Nani stepped in and started getting ambitious, Prasanth was not cool about it. This time, again, he was not so bullish on AWE when its budget kept on growing.

Finally, however, Nani's determination saw through, so also the commitment of Kajal, Nithya Menen, Regina, Srinivas Avasarala and others. Rest, we will know on Feb 16.
