Universal hero Kamal Haasan`s Cheekati Rajyam is gearing up for release on November 20. The Tamil version will release ahead of its Telugu version on November 10, for Diwali. Besides participating in the film promotions, Kamal Haasan also began pre-production work for his upcoming film directed by TK Rajeev Kumar of Chanakya fame. Actress Amala Akkineni is paired opposite Kamal in this film. The film also has another actress in the lead role.

Earlier, Kamal and Amala have worked in hits like Guru, Vetri Vizha and Pushpaka Vimanam. Exactly after 25 years, Amala is sharing the screen space with Kamal for this yet-to-be titled film. The film produced under Raj Kamal Films International banner will have its major schedule in America. Bollywood actress Zareena Wahab is playing a crucial role. Hope, Kamal rekindles the same chemistry with Amala in this film.
