Kartik Aaryan turns a cricketer for this project

There seems to be a craze of cricket movies in Bollywood these days. After Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu and others, it seems like actor Kartik Aaryan is also all set to get into the role of a cricketer now. On Tuesday, the actor shared a clip of himself sporting a white cricket uniform and playing the game in a cinematic manner. The clip featured him getting some hard hits with some commentary in the background. The actor shared this clip with the caption, "Coming Soon!"

This made fans think that Kartik is going to star in a cricket based project very soon. However, their hopes were ruined when Kartik revealed that his role of cricketer was merely for an advertisement. He shared the advert on his Instagram account on Wednesday. Talking about upcoming cricket based films, Ranveer Singh's '83' is going to release on 24th of December while Shahid Kapoor's 'Jersey' will be out on 31st of December. Actress Taapsee Pannu will be seen playing cricketer Mitali Raj in the film 'Shabas Mithu'.

On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan is currently busy with the filming of 'Shehzada'.
