'Loham' was touted to be released during this Ramzan. However, the release has been postponed for the coming Onam. Accordingly, viewers will have a mass Mohanlal movie for this Onam. Expectations are riding high on this movie since the movie is expected to reintroduce the mass Mohanlal.

'Loham' is being directed by Ranjith. The shoot is over and post production work is going on. Ranjith - Mohanlal team up was last seen for 'Spirit' which was a hit venture. 'Loham' will see Mohanlal essaying the role of a taxi driver named Raju. Andrea jeremiah plays his leading lady. The movie deals with the issue of gold smuggling.
