Mohanlal's Onam presentation 'Mahasamudram' is in its last phase of post production.

The film which is in its rerecording stage is all set to grace the theatres by the 18th of August, two weeks before Onam. One of the songs in the film with Mohanlal will be shot in the first week of August, as the superstar is presently in London shooting for Aakashagopuram.

The film by Debutant director Dr.S.Janardhanan features Mohanlal as a fisherman for the first time in his career. Extensively shot in the sea, the film has a number of sequences including two fights and a marriage shot in the outer sea. The film will be a delight to watch as Mohanlal is said to have geared in a remarkable performance in the film.
