Popular Malayalam television anchor, mimicry artiste, comedian and actress Subi Suresh passed away on Wednesday. Reportedly, Subi was suffering from liver ailments and has been under treatment at a private hospital in Aluva. The 42 year old actress breathed her last at 9:35 a.m on Wednesday. Suby is survived by her parents and brother.
Subi, known for her quick wit and humour started off as a comedian in various stage shows. Her performance in the comedy show Cinemala shot her to fame. She soon went on to host several TV shows like Mazhavil Manorama's 'Made for Each Other', Surya TV's 'Kutty Pattalam' among many others. She ventured into movies with the film Kanaka Simhasanam directed by Rajasenan. She has played notable roles in films like Panchavarna Thattha, 101 Wedding, Elsamma Enna Aankutty, Drama, Kaaryasthan, Happy Husbands, Detective, etc.
