Due to Producer –exhibitor rift, the release of Mammootty`s Great Father has been postponed to March. The film was earlier scheduled to release on January 27.

The film is directed by debut director Haneef Adeni and has Kollywood actress Sneha as the heroine. Tamil Actor Arya is in a negative role in this film. The name of the character that Mammootty plays in this film is David Naina.

Other cast includes Malavika, I.M. Vijayan, Mankikandan etc.
