Mammootty, the mega star of Malluwood, is currently shooting for Pothen Vava which has Gopika as his heroine and singer-turned-actress Usha Uthup playing his mother.

His Prajapathi and Bharghava Charitham did not do well this year, Mammootty is hoping that his Pothen Vava and Karutha Pakshigal would set things right.

According to Mammootty, Pothen Vava has enough sentiment, action and romance to click at the box-office.

On her part, Usha Uthup is happy at her new role. She says that the transformation to an actress has been sudden but pleasant.
