Manjima Mohan is having a handful of projects in Tamil Film Industry. She already completed acting in a bilingual project in Tamil-Telugu helmed by Gautham Menon and opposite to Simbu titled Acham Yenbathu Madamaiyada. Recently she spoke about the social media attack she received after her release of her debut movie as heroine in Malayalam titled Oru Vadakkan Selfie. The trolls lashed out at her for her sentimental scenes in the film. Some of them went to the extent of asking her to exit from films.
According to the actress even at the times of scathing attacks through trolls, the cast and crew of Oru Vadakkan Selfie stood with her. They even said that they were satisfied with her performance. She even acknowledged about the difficulty she faced in emoting emotional scenes after a long gap. She had learnt the lesson and is now very careful while acting and dubbing for such scenes.
