The untimely demise of ace director Rajessh Pillai has left a deep void in the lives of many. Actress Manju Warrier who acted in Rajeesh's last film 'Vettah' wrote about her sisterly affection for the director. She says that she feels blessed that Rajeesh saw her as his sister.

Manju recalled their time together, with Rajeesh holding her hands to his chest and getting a drink of water from her. She wonders at the fate that has linked them together this birth. She says that he will forever be cherished. Her only regret is that the almighty did not extend his life for a day more to see the success of 'Vettah'.
