After the makers of Udhaharanam Sujatha announced the release date (September 28th) of the movie, it has been confirmed that actress Manju Warrier and Dileep will lock horns at the box office this Navrathri. With the striking similarity of her old look as a chilled-out no makeup 'old Manju', the teaser and songs of Manju Warrier's 'Udhaharanam Sujatha' has created huge hype on social media. Meanwhile, with negative publicity and controversies, Dileep's Ramaleela is already the talk of the town. Directed by Arun Gopy, Ramaleela is also releasing on September 28th.

While a 'Boycott Ramaleela' campaign is going viral on social media, forcing the producer to seek judicial protection, there is another section which feels that the movie must be watched, without allowing the criminal charges against Dileep to mar the lives of hundreds of men and respect the labour and creativity that have gone into the making of the movie. Controversies apart, a huge section of fans and media are eagerly waiting for the box office war between their favourite actors - Dileep and Manju Warrier.

Touted to be an out-and-out family entertainer directed by Phantom Praveen, 'Udhaharanam Sujatha' depicts the deep bonding between a single mother and daughter. Featuring Manju Warrier in the title character Sujatha, a widow who does odd jobs to bring up her 15-year-old daughter, the movie also had Mamta Mohandas in an important role.

Ramaleela is a political thriller featuring Dileep in the role of a non-practicing lawyer, a common man who one day becomes an MLA named, Ramanunni. Set in the backdrop of political affairs, 'Ramaleela' has Prayaga Martin in the female lead along with Raadhika Sarathkumar playing the role of Dileep's mother.
