Manju Warrier is knwon for her humanitarian works and championing good causes, Fighting cancer is one such cause that is close to her heart. The actress talked about turning anchor for the first time in her life for a programme that dealt with this subject. In a dais featuring eminent oncologists, and other cancer survivors including actress Mamta Mohandas, Manju took time to ask and listen to their experiences.
Manju stated that she spent around three and a half hours discussing about fighting cancer and is determined to do more in this field to create awareness and help in whatever way she can. She has also decided to step up her campaign in spreading awareness about breast cancer.
