'Maya Bazaar' is the title of an old classic film. Several stalwarts of Telugu cinema like NTR, ANR, Savitri and SV Ranga Rao made it a legend. However, the latest flick 'Maya Bazaar' has no comparison with it, but for the title. Directed by award-winning director Indraganti Mohana Krishna, the film was produced by B Satyanarayana, who had given a big hit like 'Missamma' with Bhoomika and another NRI producer Raj Kishore. 'Anand' Raja is pairing up with Bhoomika for this flick and KM Radhakrishnan, who is known for melody is wielding the baton for music direction.

Nadume Chitikantha.. Singers: Shankar Mahadevan, Chitra

It is a typical folk number. Shankar Mahadevan rendered the song along with Chitra and must have choreographed with a group of dancers. Radhakrishnan composed it with lots of melody. As the song was a folk tune, Shankar Mahadevan's tone suited it well. At the same time, Chitra's humming and sweet voice elevated the mood in the song.

Siri Siri Muvvala.. Singer: SP Balasubrahmanyam

It is a song based on melody. It looked as if a girl is in a bad mood and someone is trying to make her happier and wanted to see her smiling. The lyric has good literary value with a little folk touch and the song has come out extremely well due to Balasubrahmanyam's voice. Though the tune looked a little old, the melody in it will make the audiences to forget the feel and enjoy it well.

Saroja Dala. Singers: SP Balasubrahmanyam, Chitra

This is yet another melody based duet. The lyricist tried to put in the context of marriage and the moods of the couple in the song. Balu, Chitra had rendered the song in full sync. It looks that the music director inspired with commercial film tunes of yesteryears and tuned this song. However, it is good to listen to the song and the sweetness of voice from Balu and Chitra enthralls the audiences. Radhakrishanan once again proved that he is good at using traditional instruments like violin, tabla and flute as well as modern instruments like key board.

Kanivini Erugani Singer: Gayatri

Radhakrishnan is so fascinated at old rhythms and even in this song he used only a traditional rhythm. The song deals with a girl dreaming about something, which was supposed to make her happy. This numbers is also melodious with traditional rhythms and the song gives a feel to the audiences that they are enjoying an old classic. The singer had puts in lots of melody in this song and is worth listening again and again.

Prema Nerama Singers: Hariharan, Shreya Ghoshal

This is a duet, but it looked the hero and heroine is at different places but the song was picturised as if both of them thinking about each other. The song is also high in literary values at the same time the music is quite traditional. The tune has a fine mix of classical song and at the same time made to suit the duet. Hariharan rendered this song in quite melodious way. Though he is basically a Hindi singer, he proved once again through this song that language is no bar for singing a song in a melodious way.

Hai Lovely. Singers: KM Radhakrishnan, Vasundhara Das

Finally Radhakrishnan had leaped a step ahead to give a little modern tune to this song. Besides using guitar, saxophone and drums, a little humming of English verses, he made the listeners to tap their feet. Though the tune is quite formal it is very melodious. KM Radhakrishnan himself rendered the song along with Vasundhara Das. It looked that it is a duet in which the hero and heroine tease each other.
