Mohanlal joins the sets of 'Kanal'

Though Mohanlal was scheduled to join the sets of 'Kanl' only by the beginning of June, the actor has already joined the sets. For some undisclosed reasons, the shoot has been preponed. Mohanlal plays the principal character in the movie along with Anoop Menon. Directed by M. Padmakumar, 'Kanal' is a revenge saga with Dubai as the major location.

Mohanlal's arrival on the sets was celebrated with a cake cutting, The actor had celebrated his 55th birthday on 21st May. He was in Japan that day and the crew and cast gave the star a surprise as soon as he joined the sets.
