News is trickling in that Mohanlal is once again making a trip to Kannada Movies. If this happens it will be his second full-fledged Kannada Movie. This time he is teaming with Kannada superstar Upendra. Last year Mohanlal had acted in one Kannada movie titled Mythiri`. In 2004 he made a guest appearance in a Kannada movie titled Love`.This film is helmed by Naganna and has Vedika as the heroine.

The announced film is scheduled to release next year and is titled Kanneshwara`. It will be multilingual movie and will be released in Tamil and Telugu apart from Kannada. It is planned as an out-and-out entertainer.Naganna`s Kranthiveera was a big hit in Kannada. Upendra had teamed up with the director earlier in Kutumba in 2003 and Gowramma which was a huge success at the box office.
