Late music director MG Radhakrishnan’s wife Padmaja Radhakrishnan (68) passed away at Trivandrum on Monday. Reportedly, Padmaja suffered a cardiac arrest this morning at 1 am. As per reports, she was admitted to the hospital due to breathlessness.

'Padmaja who is also a lyricist was a distinguished painter too. She had penned lyrics for the 2013 movie ‘Mr. Bean’. She has also penned for light music composed by her late husband. She was the daughter of T T Neelakandan Nair and M P Ammu Kutty Amma. 

Padmaja Radhakrishnan's son MR Rajakrishnan currently lives in Chennai and daughter Karthika in Dubai.
