Though there were rumours floating around that ace actress Nayanthara was detained at the Kaula Lumpur airport due to drug issues or passport issues, it has now been clarified that the matter was simple issue of a work permit stamp. Because of the work permit stamp, she was supposed to check in through another terminal and this is what led to the minor confusion.
This was soon sorted out and she shot for the movie 'Iru Mugan' in which Vikram and Nithya Menon are her co-stars and also returned back to Chennai as soon as her schedule was done. She was back in the city by Feb 3rd. However, the rumours have not gone down well with the movie team and the Malaysian line producer has filed a complaint against the spreading of such malicious and false news.
