A viral video has claimed that a nebuliser machine can be used as an alternative to oxygen cylinder by Covid-19 patients with breathing issues. Since a lot of people are panicking and scrambling for oxygen cylinders even though they don't need them, the video has come to be seen as a ray of hope providing knowledge. Nothing is farther from the truth, as a few fact-checkers have said.

As per India Today, not only have medical experts discarded the theory proposed in the video, the doctor seen in it has come out in the open to say that the claim is baseless. It's said that the doctor was directing a patient on how to use a nebulizer machine.

An expert has been quoted as saying that the video demonstrating a purported technique that can substitute a nebulizer machine for an oxygen cylinder to improve blood oxygen levels is totally baseless.

Covid-19 patients facing breathing issues have been urged not to fall for the unscientific video.
