Team Lingaa` can breath better as the Madurai HC had dismissed the plagiarism case filed by Ravi Ratnam. The petitioner had said that the story line of Lingaa` has been taken from his movie Mullai Vanam 999` and demanded a ban on the movie.

Early this morning, the Madurai High Court dismissed the case citing that there aren`t enough evidences from the petitioner and given its nod to release the movie without any restrictions.

Directed by K.S. Ravikumar, Lingaa` boasts Super Star Rajinikanth, Sonakshi, Anushka, and Santhanam in the lead roles.

A.R. Rahman has scored the music and the audio of the Telugu version will be launched on December 8th.The film will be released worldwide on December 12th on the eve of Rajinikanth's birthday.
