He could team up with Puri Jagannadh and not Vakkantham Vamshi, a writer-aspiring-to-turn-a-debutante-director. "The film with Vamshi is in discussion stage and nothing is finalized", NTR said the other day.

The project might well be shelved off for the time being as NTR is learnt to be keen on teaming up with Puri for particular reasons. After a film like 'Janatha Garage', he is learnt to be thinking that it would be fitting to do a movie with a director of huge standing like Puri.

The movie will be produced by either Kalyan ram on NTR Arts, BVSN Prasad, or KS Rama Rao.

Puri narrated a story to NTR months ago and the Nandamuri actor loved it. Ever since, this project has been on cards.
