Mohanlal is known for his altruistic deeds. This time around, the actor has donated 10 lakhs for nutritional food supplements for a government hospital. The donation was made so that the patients could gain the benefit of getting good food while at the hospital. Accordingly, the amount will go towards the Dietary Kitchen of Kochi General Hospital.

A meeting was also convened by the Dietary Kitchen authorities to chalk out ways for their better functioning and management. Rima Kallingal was made the brand ambassador of the service. The meeting was also attended by actor Jayasurya.
