Owaisi-Maheshwar Reddy row: Audio tape leaked!

Earlier today, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi accused that Alleti Maheshwar Reddy of the Congress party offered to pay him a bribe of Rs 25 lakh if he cancels his public rally in Nirmal in Telangana ahead of the Assembly elections. On his part, Maheshwar Reddy has denied the allegation, saying that it's a complete lie.

A while ago, a national TV channel has delivered a shock to the Congress. It accessed the audio-tape of the phone conversation where a Congressman is heard trying to convince AIMIM's man to accept the offer of Rs 25 lakh.

In a phone interview to the channel, the Congressman has denied that it was he who was talking on the call.
