Receiving an award in any field is a bliss, but receiving a Padma Award is an honour. Even before the 67th Republic Day could be celebrated the government announced the list of Padma Awards 2016. Many eminent personalities from different walk of life like public service, sports and entertainment will be awarded the Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awards soon. But here we will cater to only the Bollywood celebrities who will be receiving the award.

South superstar Rajinikanth, has been chosen for the Padma Vibhushan award, which is country's second highest civilian award for his contribution to the cinema world. International and Bollywood actor Anupam Kher and renowned singer Udit Narayan are chosen for prestigious Padma Bhushan.

Leading Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, International and Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra and Late Actor Saeed Jaffrey will be honoured with the Padma Shri awards.
