Inspired by writer and social activist Arundhathi Roy, script writer Rajesh Jayaram has created a powerful character resembling the acclaimed women author for Shaji Kailash's forthcoming directorial venture Time. Padmapriya plays the character.

The movie features Suresh Gopi in dual roles. Vimala Raman, who was introduced by K Balachander in Tamil film Poi, plays the other heroine.

Fast nearing completion is Time.
