For all their other faults, Telugu actors and actresses never shy away from lending their names for a good cause.

Be it Kargil, be it cyclone relief, be it a natural calamity, be it anything, they are almost the first to jump and lend a helping hand.

Of course, they will make a song and dance of it. But that is their stock in trade. Nobody should complain about that.

The Telugu filmwallahs have now come together to play a cricket match to help the struggling farmers of Andhra Pradesh.

The fun match, scheduled for February 13th, will be played under the aegis of the Movie Artistes' Association. According to its President Dr M Mohan Babu the proceeds of the match would be donated to the farmers.

Four teams from Tollywood would be seen in action and the likes of Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna would lead the teams. Interestingly, NTR Jr will play under the captaincy of his uncle Balakrishna, ditto for Sumanth under Nags. The brothers of Vishnu and Manoj would be hoping to do a Waugh twins act under Venkatesh's leadership.

So stay tuned for some serious fun.
