CBCID takes custody of attacker in Pollachi Sex abuse case

The court has granted the CBCID four-day custody of Manikandan who attacked the brother of the Pollachi sex abuse victim and demanded him to withdraw the case.  Last month the shocking news dominated headlines as the video of a teenage girl being sexually assaulted by four men became viral.

The cops arrested Thirunavukkarasu, Satheesh, Sabarirajan and Vasantha Kumar who were the main accused as well as several others connected.  The case was transferred to the CBCID and the investigations are going on to bring to justice the network that is involved in a heinous crime against allegedly 200 women in the area in a similar manner.
