On Thursday, Pournamithinkal serial actor Vishnu Nair got engaged to Kavya. The happy news was announced by the actor's rumoured girlfriend and onscreen wife Gowri Krishnan.

Sharing a candid picture from the engagement function, Gowri wrote, "Congrats my dears for the new beginning. Sorry for being late to announce..Bye bye gossips".

Wearing a blue kurta, the actor looked handsome as ever while the bride-to-be looked gorgeous in a traditional avatar. The engagement was a low-key affair attended by very close friends and family members.

Actor Vishnu Nair shot to fame with the serial 'Bhagyajathakam'. Currently, he is playing the lead role Prem in 'Pournamithinkal' that has actress Gowri Krishna in the female lead. The on-screen couple was rumoured to be dating. However, now the rumours have come to an end.
