In a recent television show which is very popular among Malayalees, superstar Mohanlal answered a question about his son. This question was asked in the wake of the news that Pranav Mohanlal is debuting as a hero through a Jithu Joseph movie in Malayalam. The presenter asked Mohanlal what is his opinion about Pranav coming to films and whether he gave his son any valid advice or shared any knowledge about acting.

To this the actor replied that he didn`t have any discussion with his son regarding this. He also added that he is coming into the same field where he is working. The actor said that he felt his son as an intelligent person. "I think he will ask me if he needs any clarity regarding anything," said the actor.
