The Prelude to 'Jawaan' is Teaser-like, complete with a 'dialogue of intent'. For the 'jawaan' in civil uniform, the nation is nothing but an amalgamation of lakhs of families. The country, in effect, is the larger family and that's the most patriotic statement one can make.

'Desha bakthi anedi kireetam kadu, kruthagnatha' ('Patriotism is no crown; it's nothing but gratitude') should stir the conscience of those who boast of their patriotism as some sort of qualification they possess.

Sai Dharam Tej is looking decent (we are using the word in the sense that someone wearing a formal or near-formal dress in the proper way is branded in some circles), thanks to the vision of the writer-turned-director BVS Ravi.

SS Thaman's RR always makes for a pulsating watch. What a talent!

Mehreen of 'Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha' fame is the heroine. Tamil actor Prasanna is the antagonist. For now, their look is a secret. The cinematography is by Guhan. Editing is by SR Sekhar. Art direction is by Brahma Kadali.
