100 Days Of COVID-19: Kerala CM shares the real figures and details!

On April 10, which marks to be the 100th day of Kerala's fight in combating the deadly coronavirus, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan shared the updated figures of positive cases, along with the efforts made by the state government to contain the virus spread.

"100 Days of #COVID19 | Kerala Story It's been 100 days since the first case was reported. 258 active cases, 97 recovered, Total confirmed: 357 Deaths: 2. 12,710 samples tested Special COVID-19 Hospital, 1,251 Community Kitchens, 28,08,650 Individuals Served, 3,676 Destitutes Rehabilitated," Pinarayi Vijayan tweeted.

The 2019-novel coronavirus pandemic started in China's Wuhan city in early December last year. The first case of coronavirus pandemic was first confirmed in India on January 30 this year in Kerala after a student, who was studying at Wuhan University in China, returned to the state and was tested positive for the highly infectious disease. Since then Kerala has been following strict protocol to prevent the spread.

On Friday, eight persons tested positive for coronavirus and 27 patients, who were getting treated for the disease, recovered in Kerala. With this, 238 people are getting treated at various hospitals in the state.
