After 'AWE', 'Manasuku Nachindi' and 'Rajaratham', 'Rachayita' has confirmed that it will be out in the theatres on Feb 16.

Directed by Vidyasagar Raju, the film boasts of a "thrilling love story". Raju has done the main lead's role, while Sanchita Padukone is the female lead. Produced by Kalyan Dhulipalli, 'Rachayita' is a period film set in the 1950s. "We shot many important segments in a huge set erected in Vizag," the producer says.

Chandrabose's lyrics are apparently the film's backbone.

The film's pre-release function will be held on Feb 10 in Ongole. Sridhar Varman, Vadlamani Srinivas, Himaja, Manichandra and others are part of the cast. Shaan Rehman has composed the music. Jeevan B has composed the background music. Editing is by Prawin Pud.
