RajDooth is an emotional, different commercial film: Meghamsh

'Rajdooth' marks the entry Meghamsh, son of late Srihari.  Directed by Arjun Gunnala and Carthyk, the film will release on July 12.  Ahead of its release, the debutant hero talks about its highlights, how the film happened, what his parents taught him and more.

That was to avoid pressure

The media has been very supportive.  We had to work on the worst of the sunny days for this movie.  We didn't speak about the project until the release of the teaser so as to avoid pressure.  Just my mother's presence on film set exerts so much pressure on me.  Making the news of my debut public would have only increased the pressure.

Father's dream

My father wanted to make me an actor and my elder brother a director.  We are chasing our dreams.  I am good in studies and am into the third year of BBA.  My mother is proud of the output of 'RajDooth'.  She watched the film recently.  I am a bit nervous but not too jittery.

A road film with many highlights

The title is the aptest for the story.  Yes, I do use RajDooth bike in the movie.  It's partly a road film.  It's a commercial film but not a regular one.  The character I have played is suitable for my age and looks.  I had listened to two scripts before this script came to me.  This story struck a chord with me.  The characters played by me, Aditya Menon garu and the comedy involving me and Sudarshan are the highlights.  The emotions are highly relatable.  Family sentiment and other elements will work definitely.  Sunil garu is not part of the film; his voice was used only for the teaser.

Perfectly friendly directors

The directors had worked with Sudheer Varma garu.  They co-ordinated so well and they both had perfect understanding during the shoot.  Thanks to them, the shoot went smoothly.

Me & my brother

Whenever I dance at home, my mother guides me.  My father taught me to be disciplined and do good every time.  I used to like the way he smiled.  He was a versatile actor. I used to be in touch with theatre in childhood.  Although my elder brother looks like my father, he is interested in film direction.  He is getting trained as yet.

Some short-term training

I trained under Teja garu, who is a recipient of the Nandi award, for one month before the film went on the floors.

Thankful for their support

I am very happy that Srinu Vaitla garu and many others are supporting me and my film.  It feels happy to receive their warmth.  I am excited to watch the film with crowds.
