Ravi Prakash has today resigned as the CEO of TV9.  There have been severe differences between him and the new management, Associated Broadcasting Company Private Limited (ABCL).  He has been a minority shareholder at the most popular regional TV channel.

The celebrity host and news reader has accused the new management of being wilful lackeys of certain politicians.  Ravi Prakash has also said that he has been arm-twisted maliciously through fabricated cases.  

Earlier this week, there was much drama over Ravi Prakash allegedly being on the run to escape an arrest.  After a day of confusion, he appeared on TV9 in the night to say that he is not absconding.  Many believed that he would continue with TV9.  However, his resignation on Friday has come as another twist in the tale.
