Pawan Kalyan on Friday visited Nandyal and other places in Kurnool district. In his known style, the Jana Sena chief said that Rayalaseema is not a drought-prone region but has been made to be one by neglect.

"When we come to power, we will spend Rs 50,000 Cr on the region's integration development. Sangameswaram and Sivapuram irrigation projects and KC Canal will be taken care of," he said.

Pawan touched upon the AP government's loan waiver scheme, which is still a work in progress. Announcing freebies, he promised free laptops for Intermediate students.

"We will stand by Rayalaseema and bring back the golden days of Sri Krishnadevaraya.

Pawan reiterated that the Jana Sena government would make education free for everyone from KG to PG.
