Actress Kausalya, who took to small screen recently playing lead roles in a Tamil and a Malayalam mega-serial is all set to return to the big screen now.

She was last seen in Thirumalai, playing Raghuvaran's wife.

Meanwhile, the actress who made her beginning acting opposite Vijay in Nerukku Ner, has been now signed to play the heroine in a movie titled Police starring Prashanth.

The movie which is a remake of Hindi hit Khakee is produced and directed by Thiyagarajan.

Now, her movie, Manadhil opposite Karthick is ready for release. A couple of movies which began with Kausalya playing the heroine (Vendumadi Nee Ennaku and Rosapoo Chinna Rosapoo) are also being revived now.

Hope she strikes it rich in her second innings at least now.
