Horror flicks are the flavour of the season. Even Gautham Menon has been smitten by the 'evil' bug. He is producing a Tamil film of this genre. The film marks the coming together two others directors noted for their 'hatke' thinking: SJ Suryah, who will play the male lead's role; Selvaraghavan, who will wield the megaphone.

Titled as Nenjam Marappathillai (The heart never forgets), it was earlier thought by many that is a remake of the Tamil classic of same name. However, the makers have confirmed that it is a whole new film. Santosh Narayanan will compose the music, while Arvind Krishna will be the cinematographer.

Currently, Suryah is doing a film titled as Iraivi. In Tamil, he has these two projects, while in Telugu he will direct Pawan Kalyan's next - either a sequel to Khushi or a remake of Ajith Kumar's Veeram.
