Remove Sania as Telanganas ambassador: BJP MLA

'Tiger' Raja Singh, the lone BJP MLA from the State of Telangana, has demanded that the government should sack Sania Mirza as the brand ambassador for Telangana as she is "Pakistan ki bahu' (daughter-in-law of Pakistan). He added that VVS Laxman, PV Sindhu or Saina Nehwal should be considered as the replacement.

The saffron party's firebrand leader's demand comes in the wake of the Pulwama massacre.

On her part, Sania had said earlier that the day (February 14) when the CRPF jawans were attacked by terrorists was a "black day". She added in a long social media post that she doesn't have to condemn the attack publicly to prove her patriotism.
