Actor-director Renji Panicker has now with his next film Alamara, turned a playback singer. Renji Panicker has sung the song En Thala Chuttanu, written by Manu Manjith. Reportedly, the song is a funny track which has rhyming lyrics speaking about marriages and the related ceremonies.

The movie's music composer Sooraj S Kurup says that after he received the lyrics of the song, he felt that Renji Panicker is the ideal choice to sing it. Though Renji Panicker was initially apprehensive to croon the song, the compose had to take all his recording equipment to the actor's house and convince him to sing. "Once he listened to his own track, he became confident and finally, we recorded the song," says Sooraj.

Touted to be a comedy satire, Alamara will hit the big screens on March 17th. Written by Kohn Manthirckal, the movie has Adithi Ravi in the female lead along with Renji Panicker, Manikandan Achari, Aju Varghese and Saiju Kurup in important roles.
