All charges against Salman Khan have been proved in the infamous 2002 September Hit-And-Run Case. The Mumbai Court has found the actor guilty of running over five men sleeping on a pavement, killing one. Salman is convicted under following charges -

Sec 304 (Part II) of IPC - Culpable homicide not amounting to murder (Max 10 years in jail)

Sec 279 of IPC - Rash and Negligent Driving (6 Months in jail)

Sec 337 of IPC - Causing hurt by act endangering life (2 years in jail)

Sec 338 of IPC - Causing grievous hurt (2 years in jail)

Sec 427 of IPC - Mischief causing danger to property (2 years in jail)

Salman, who may have to face ten years of imprisonment, is visibly upset. "It was improbable that driver (Ashok Singh) was driving... You were driving the car," stated the Judge, during final hearing. Arpita Khan, Salman's sister, broke down after listening to the verdict.

After the Judge passed verdict, arguments over Salman's sentence were going on in full swing. Shrikant Shivade, Salman Khan's lawyer has cited for reduced sentence of 2 years. Wearing a white shirt with blue jeans and dark glasses, Salman waved to the huge crowd of fans and media waiting outside the Court. He hugged his parents, before he left for home dejected.
